SUNARMA UK (SUK) was set up in April 2002 by a group of persons with long-term residential, work experience and personal links with Ethiopia. It is a registered charity in the UK (No 1093680) and has its own Board of Trustees. Board members have backgrounds in banking, agriculture, economics and development, with particular expertise in participatory methodologies. They are advised by international development consultants who pioneered community-based planning in the Horn of Africa over 20 years.
